									Referring to last week’s lessons about Georgia O'Keeffe, we discussed her famous flower paintings and her desert landscapes. This week the students will focus on drawing succulent garden still lifes. The students will learn about the art elements of space and overlapping, patterns and balance.<br><br>In class we will review desert plants and answer the question “do we have these types of plants growing where we live?”<br><br> The students will follow along with my demonstration, and eventually adding their own ideas into their drawings. 									We will be studying Georgia O’Keeffe and her works of art. The students will look over her different painting styles and focus on the details she put in her work. Our main focus will be her flower paintings, as we recreate our own in time for spring.<br><br>The students will be following along with my instructions on how to take over our paper with our O’Keeffe styled flowers. They will be focusing on adding details and color schemes they want to add, as well as how to work with size.<br>

									Students will begin to explore the topic of 2 point perspective. To explore their imaginations they will be given the assignment to create their own treehouse. The students will be able to create their treehouse any which way they would like, based on 2 point perspective.<br><br>On their own the students will recreate from my demonstration their own treehouse in any style they prefer.
